Ned. in MO - maar dat is het nou net, de US overheid laat je niet weten dat je gediskwalificeerd bent. Je gegevens worden gewoon weggegooid (tegenwoordig bewaard naar het schijnt) maar je loot niet mee, vanwege die dubbele aanmelding. De enige oplossing is dat de US overheid ophoudt aanmeldingen via bureaus - al dan niet legitiem - te accepteren. Maar in sommige delen van de wereld is dat nu juist de enige manier om mee te doen.
Wat mij betreft destemeer redenen om er toch eindelijk eens mee op te houden, met de DV lottery that is.

Ik krijg ook een link naar een sexsite of zo iets met zo'n camgirl als ik op jou link klik.

Tja... er zijn veel mensen die schijnbaar geen geweten hebben. Oplichters heb je overal, en ik bekijk oplichtingspraktijken altijd met stijgende verbazing... Het enige waar je op kan hopen, is dat ze gepakt en gestopt worden.

Oplichters zijn er, mijns inziens, omdat er mensen zijn die erin tuimen. Ik snap bv niet dat iemand die aan de DV-Loterij mee doet, niet eerst goed uitzoekt hoe die loterij georganiseerd wordt en wanneer de loting plaatsvind en de uitslagen bekend gemaakt worden. Al die informatie is zo makkelijk te vinden. Op het moment dat een uitslag bekend gemaakt wordt op 15 juli en jij krijgt een week daarvoor al een mailtje dan klopt er iets niet.

Ik kan me nog herinneren dat iemand op dit forum een poos geleden schreef over een collega die dansend door het kantoor liep omdat ze een mega geldbedrag had gewonnen (van een loterij waar ze niet aan mee gedaan had). Ze had een engelstalig mailtje gehad en was er heilig van overtuigd dat ze gewonnen had. Waarschuwingen hielpen niet echt.

Zolang er mensen zijn die zo naïef zijn blijf je mensen houden die de boel bedonderen.

ik las ook op de site van de loterij dat er gewaarschuwt word voor dit soort mailtjes. Blijkbaar zijn er genoeg mensen die erin trappen anders blijven ze niet door gaan. Heel vervelend vooral als je in de zenuwe zit te wachten.

Dat soort mensen die parasiteren op anderen komen zichzelf nog wel een keer tegen, en dan zal de aanblik in de spiegel niet aangenaam zijn.

Het leuke is, ze geven het adres van de US ambassade op in de UK. De naam van de contact-persoon is steeds anders (je kan letterlijk 100 verschillende namen vinden als je hiernaar Googled). Maar dat adres is ook helemaal niet belangrijk omdat het geld daar nooit aankomt. Het gaat er hun om dat je het MTCN nummer geeft en de andere gegevens. Daar hebben ze genoeg aan om het geld te innen.
