ik heb 26 oktober een afspaak op het consulaat om een visum voor 6 maanden stage aan te vragen.
ik moet een sevis fee downlaoden op internet en die mee nemen naar de afspraak. kan iemand mij vertellen waar ik die sevisfee kan vinden en wat het is?

Effective September 1, 2004, the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requires the collection of a one-time fee of $100 from certain international students and visiting scholars. The fee is required to cover operational costs of the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS).
SEVIS stands for Student and Exchange Visitor Information System. The Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (BCIS, formerly the INS) has created this internet-based system in order to maintain current information on nonimmigrant students, exchange visitors, and their dependents (i.e. all those in the F or J visa status). SEVIS will track F and J visa holders from the time they receive their documents (I-20, visa, etc.) until they complete their programs. When fully operational, SEVIS will link with colleges and universities, US embassies and consulates, US ports of entry, the Department of State, and exchange visitor programs.
