Niet te geloven!! Ik bel om opgehaald te worden, checken ze nog even wat gegevens......
Zou ik de verkeerde creditcard hebben, ik heb er deze week nog een Hummer mee kunnen huren, maar dat haalde niets uit. Moest ik ineens een California driverslicense hebben en was ik buiten hun pickup zone. Mijn hele weekend naar de *^$%&$&%$. Nergens meer een vergelijkbare auto te huren, alleen uiteindelijk nog een Ford Focus, ja net zo groot als in NL. Ik ben zeer teleurgesteld in Enterprise!!!!!!!!! Bij deze wil ik iedereen afraden er een auto te huren!!!!!!!
Mijn klacht verzonden naar Enterprise, maar kan even de originel tekst niet meer vinden, maar het hele verhaal gedaan.

Ik kreeg geen reactie en stuurde nogmaals een vraag over mijn klacht.
Het antwoord wat ik kreeg bevatte een reactie die zij wel verzonden zouden hebben.
Unfortunately this branches policy on debit cards restricts their use unless you live and work locally and can provide a paystub and utility bill to prove that. If you poses an out of state DL and debit card we are unable to rent using that debit card for deposit. The security deposit must be held on a major credit card that is not linked to a checking account. From reviewing the area you were looking to get picked up at, we have a Enterprise location on 29 Broadway in National City. This location is less than 2 miles from where you are located at the KOA campground. My location is in South Chula Vista closer to the Mexico border and about 3 times the distance from the KOA campground. I apologize this was not conveyed to you at a sooner date. Enterprise tries to prevent this with notification on our website of our local debit card policies. Unfortunately sometimes it is overlooked and these situations arise. I feel confident that our rental branches in the Santa Barbra area will take good care of you. Please let me know if you will need a rental in the San Diego area in the near future and I will do my best to provide you with adequate transportation. Thanks

Mijn reactie (ik was nog bozer ondertussen):
7.Jason states that I do not own a major credit card, that is incorrect. I do
not own a debit card!!!!!! I tried to explain that to the person on the
phone. So all the things concerning the rules for a debit card are not
important. That means I also didn't need a local DL, I have my Dutch
national drivers licence. I picked his branche because when I made the
online reservation, I selected the branche by entering the zipcode for the
KOA and selected the nearest location given to my by the system.
So in short, my credit card was good to rent a motorhome from RoadBear RV
rentals, was good to rent a car from enterprise in Anaheim (Orange), was
good to rent a car from Enterprise near Santa Cruz (almost 11 miles drive
for my pickup, but no problem what soever) and my CC was good enough to rent
a Hummer in Las Vegas. But not good enough for San Diego?
They didn't even try if the CC was correct. They didn't even try to solve my
problem. They left me stranded without a car when I really needed one.
It took me several hours to find any car at all and it ended up being way to
small, but I had no choice. Chula Vista South ruined my complete weekend.
So according to other Enterprise locations I did qualify to rent a car and
so you (Chula Vista) let me down. I am a member and my credit card is on
file in your system, noone told me it was wrong and that's correct because
it is a valid major CC.
What are you going to do to make this right?

I am so sorry for the inconvenience. It sounds like you rent often so I can send you a free day rental for next vacation to right the situation. Just email me your address and I will have it mailed out as soon as possible.
