Kan iemand mij advies geven mbt het aanvragen van een visum ??? Voor hoe lang kan ik een visum aanvragen ? Ik hoorde dat een toeristenvisum voor 3 maanden is, maar ik moet denk ik een werkvisum hebben.....

The alien must have a foreign residence they have no intention of abandoning, and they may stay in the U.S. for up to eighteen months. How to Apply

Duration of Visa
An H-3 visa for an alien trainee may be valid for a period of up to two years
An H-3 visa for an alien participant in a special education training program may be valid for up to 18 months
If H-3 visa holder has remained in the U.S. for the maximum period of time, as stated above, he/she may not seek a change of status, extension, or readmission to the U.S. in H or L status until he/she has resided outside of the U.S. for a period of six months"
Sorry voor mijn smilie maar het H-3 visum was volgens en zgn. pitbull immigratie lawyer uit NY de manier om mij even aan een werk/verblijfsvergunning te helpen. Kosten $2000,00. Satisfaction bijna guaranteed.
Later zag ik dat met een quota van 50 personen per jaar, ik meer kans zou hebben in de DV visa loterij. ( en ik dus fijn die $2000,00 aan iets anders kan besteden)
