Ook bij de voorwaarden van de verschillende verhuurders staat enkel dat een geldig rijbewijs verplicht is:

Driver's License
A valid national driver's license is required for each driver at the time of pick-up. An international driver's license is recommended for foreign customers.

What documents do I need to bring? (1) Current drivers license. The license must not expire during the rental period. Any additional drivers to be added on the contract must have their current drivers license as well and must be present at pickup.
(2) Proof of insurance with policy number. Bring a separate rider if your insurance company requires one. A separate rider is required for the diesel pusher model. It is the renters responsibility to confirm coverage.
(3) A major credit card with sufficient available credit.
(4) If you are a AAA Member, you must have yours or your spouse's AAA card with you at the time of pickup to receive the AAA discount.
(5) If you are an International customer, please bring your Passport.

Requirements
All drivers must be a minimum of 21 years of age (25 years at some locations) and have a valid driver’s license.

Do I need a special driver’s license to drive a motorhome?
All you need is to be 25 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license and a major credit card. No special endorsement is needed. Temporary licenses are not accepted. Authorized operators 21-24 years of age may drive a motorhome subject to $25/day fee. In some instances credit and employment references or a foreign passport are required prior to rental and will be verified. All drivers must be present, listed on and sign the Rental Agreement and will be bound by Terms and Conditions of the Rental Agreement at vehicle pick up.

Ik heb zelf bij Road Bear gewerkt, en je Nederlandse autorijbewijs is gewoon voldoende. Aangezien alle maatschappijen ontzettend veel buitenlandse klanten hebben, en gelet op de Amerikaanse focus op liability zou er ergens heus wel iets staan over de specifieke rijbewijsvereisten voor buitenlandse rijbewijzen als die er waren.

Maar goed, het is een beetje off topic aangezien we het hier niet over campers hebben
