Verstappen naar de VS?

Het begint er dan toch echt op te lijken. Na een geslaagde test op het circuit van Sebring voor het team van HVM (meteen een derde tijd!) kan Verstappen een stoeltje bemachtigen bij HVM of wellicht het team van kampioen Paul Tracy, Forsythe Racing.

De eerste race is in Long Beach op 10 April...en op 4 Juni doet het circus Milwaukee aan. Raad eens wie er op 4 Juni langs de kant staat in fel oranje als Jos meedoet?

Champ Cars lijken op Formule 1 maar zijn handgeschakeld en hebben geen snufjes als traction control. Het komt dus meer aan op de coureur. Champ Car races zijn over het algemeen erg open en dus redelijk spectaculair.Two of Europe's finest racers made their Champ Car debut today with HVM, Dutchmen Jos Verstappen and Denmark's Ronnie Bremer completed nearly 200 miles combined, despite the less than perfect track conditions caused by wind and rain.
Accomplished Formula One driver Jos Verstappen made a first impression that his potential competitors will not soon forget, setting the third quickest time of the day with a 51.82 second lap on the 1.3-mile road course. He completed 97 trouble-free laps and wasted no time acclimating himself to the HVM Lola, "There is a lot to get used to with these cars compared to a Formula 1 car," stated Verstappen. "I have to get used to a lot of things, especially for me today getting a feel of running on cold tires and brakes. The HVM team works very well together and they are very easy to work with. I am happy with today's run and feeling pretty good. I am looking forward to seeing what will happen."
