Structural Fire at Furnace Creek

A historic building that was part of the Furnace Creek Inn complex was destroyed by fire on the evening of December 4, 2014.
The Xanterra Parks & Resorts-owned structure was located across Highway 190 from the inn. The building was built in the 1930s
to serve as a garage and had been converted to the laundry facility for the entire Furnace Creek Resort. No one was injured in the fire
